I run a busy and successful professional hypnotherapy practice and you can be assured that you will be receiving therapy from an experienced, fully qualified and registered hypnotherapist. You can also feel confident that you will be seeing a therapist who has extensive knowledge, training and experience in addition to hypnotherapy. Before practising as a full time hypnotherapist, I graduated from Birmingham City University as a Rehabilitation Officer and practised within the social care profession for many years specialising in delivering rehabilitation training to clients with a visual impairment.
I am a Registered Hypnotherapist and have qualifications in Hypnotherapy, Stress Management and Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). I am UKCHO Registered (UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations) and a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH). In accordance with the National Council for Hypnotherapy's Code of Ethics and Conduct, my aim is to treat you as swiftly and effectively as possible. Please be assured that you will receive a confidential, professional and understanding service at all times.
My approach towards therapy
As a therapist, I see myself as a facilitator, using a number of therapeutic techniques to guide my clients towards the direction of achieving their desired goals. I believe that most of us have the inner potential to independently achieve change; sometimes we just need assistance to unlock our true potential.
I use a holistic approach to help you overcome your particular problem or condition so that you can positively move forward with your life. Using Hypnotherapy, I will help you access your inner resources so that you can achieve your goals. I also use other therapeutic techniques alongside hypnotherapy, including Stress Management and NLP.

UKCHO is an umbrella organisation for the hypnotherapy profession in the United Kingdom. It is UKCHO's aim to promote professional regulation in order to set standards of ethics and training which ensure that all hypnotherapy practitioners are safe and competent to practice, thus fulfilling the primary criterion of protecting the public. UKCHO has done this by establishing a National Register of Hypnotherapists.
Established in 1973, the National Council of Hypnotherapy is one of the largest organisations for registered Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom. All practitioners are bound by the organisation's Code of Ethics and Conduct and are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. In accordance with these guidelines, my aim is to treat you as swiftly and effectively as possible. All members receive ongoing supervision and are required to improve their level of skills and professional competence by undertaking training in continuing professional development.
